Susan Lundgren is a third grade teacher at Eastwood Elementary in West Fargo, North Dakota. Her teaching career began in Minneapolis, MN and she has been teaching at the elementary level for 30 years. Susan received her undergraduate degree from Bethel University (MN) and her master’s degree from Minot State University (ND).
After teaching third graders during the day, Susan enjoys teaching and designing online courses for North Dakota State University and the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota. The continuing education courses for teachers have been designed for immediate application in the classroom.
Susan has also taught summer school technology classes, adult education computer courses, presented at various local and regional reading conferences, co-chaired the NCA science committee, and worked on the NCA math committee. Her most recent accomplishment is co-authoring two books that have been published by Teacher Created Resources.
Awards received include Teacher of the Month from the West Fargo Chamber of Commerce, Teacher of the Month Award from an NBC affiliate television station, West Fargo Education Association "Golden Torch" Award and Who's Who Among America's Teachers 2002 and 2004.
During Susan's free time, she volunteers at church, read, works out at the YMCA, garden (during the 3 months when snow is not falling), and of course shopping. She is married and has two daughters who are living in Minneapolis, MN.
